Who are you?

My name is Sophie and I’m a college student going for my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography. I’m an on-the-fringe Mac Geek (I don’t drink the kool-aid), I’m hopelessly addicted to the internet, I have a wanderlust, and I’m a card-carrying member of the Nine Inch Nails fanclub. No really, we have cards.

What is MacRatLove?

MacRatLove is, first and foremost, an escape from the insanity of writing my thesis. It is a documentation of all the weird and funny things that happen in everyday life. Like a comic diary, only without all the angst and romance.

So you’re not making this stuff up?

Nope. Why should I? Life is hilarious.

What’s with the rats?

I like rats. Plus, everybody looks cuter in rat form.

Are you a furry?

Nope, but I don’t have a problem with them.

How often do you update?

Currently I’m on a twice-a-week update schedule.  Sundays will be a full color comic, and Wednesdays are a more “experimental” comic– could be color, could be black and white, could be a full page or a few panels, who knows.  The important thing to remember is that I’m on Hawaii time which means I’m a good six hours behind you East Coast American folks, so don’t start complaining when it’s 5am on Thursday and there’s no comic yet.  Wednesday isn’t over until I go to bed, and nevermind what the clocks say.
